Hello again....Here is an easy and fun activity that the kids will love.
This activity can be done on top of your kitchen bench top or on paper, both easy to clean afterwards...
What you need
* paints
* paper
* bench top
Method - using paper
1. Just drop some paint onto the paper and encourage your child to move the paint around the paper using their fingers and their hands.
2.Now let dry
Method - using bench top
1. Add some paint directly onto the bench top and let your child use their fingers and hands to create lines, squiggles and shapes in the paint.[/B]
2. When they are done, take a piece of paper and lay it down directly onto the print and gently rub.
3. Lift off and wow! you have a pretty print!
Hints
* laminate your print
* frame your print
* add magnets
* use as wrapping paper
* cover books with your print
This experience is a very sensory and tactile activitiy. Your little one is using their sense of touch, sight, smell and hearing whilst interacting with you and this fun activity....
Their confidence is also boosted as they take pride in their finished creation!
But most of all...have fun with your child as you share 'creating' together!
Until next time,
